You may be someone who appears capable and put together on the outside, while privately feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying too much for too long. Perhaps you understand your patterns intellectually but still find yourself becoming stuck in the same emotional reactions, relationship dynamics, or beliefs about yourself. Therapy can offer a place to slow down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and begin relating to yourself with greater clarity and compassion.
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, identity-related stress, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. I also specialize in perinatal mental health and support clients navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, birth-related experiences, parenting, reproductive transitions, and the complicated emotions that can accompany these seasons of life.
My approach is relational, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in the nervous system. I integrate somatic and mindfulness-based therapy, attachment-focused work, EMDR, Brainspotting, and other evidence-based approaches according to each client’s needs. Rather than asking you to simply think differently or push difficult feelings away, we may explore how past experiences continue to live in your emotions, relationships, body, and sense of self.
As a mixed-race Indigenous therapist, I understand that healing does not happen outside of culture, family, community, history, and systems of power. My work is informed by the Mi’kmaw teaching of Two-Eyed Seeing, bringing together the strengths of Indigenous and Western ways of understanding wellness while honoring the knowledge, identity, and lived experience each person brings into the room. I am also an Oregon certified Culturally Specific Provider, providing culturally and linguistically specific services for Native American clients.
My goal is to offer a space that feels genuine, collaborative, and deeply human. Together, we can work toward greater emotional regulation, self-trust, meaningful connection, and a life that feels more aligned with who you are, not simply one that looks manageable from the outside.
